Ashaki International LLC is a black female-owned business with the mission to provide natural and effective hair and skincare services. Our journey began with the knowledge and experience of our founder, Gwendetta Jones. With 29 years of experience in the hair and skin care industries, Ms. Jones has built a strong foundation for Ashaki International, LLC. 

During her time as a licensed hair stylist and natural hair care specialist, Gwendetta has remained dedicated to providing quality services while using safe and responsibly sourced ingredients, ensuring the health of her clients. Her experience also extends to being a salon owner and providing continuing education for NC cosmetologists, which further establishes her expertise in the hair and skin care industries.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, Ms. Jones began to study the effects of endocrine-disrupting chemicals in black hair care products and discovered the harmful effects of preservatives and fragrances. With this awakening, she worked diligently to create a product line that would provide maximum results for her clients and incorporate safe, natural ingredients that offered detoxifying benefits.
